I’m a Believer/Wife/Mother of an angel living in Orange County, CA with my husband, Matt, and our Husky/German Shepard/something else, Lola. I’m an elementary school teacher by day, homemaker & dessert lover by night. You can find me in the kitchen (it’s where I belong, and I’m okay with that) “fixing-upping” our fixer-upper that we call home, coming up with a new bright idea every 2.4 days, or enjoying some good food & conversation with family & friends. Now, if only I can do the things I love while traveling the world. Until then, I’ll keep loving my dream job; being a wife and mama.

Why The Gift of Gab Project-

After losing our first-born and experiencing the immense grief that comes during the first year, I knew that I was called to turn this sorrow into good. While Carrying to Term, I quickly learned that miscarriage, stillborn, and infant loss is a taboo topic. Those who’ve experienced it are afraid to talk about it because no one really wants to hear about it. It causes awkward silences and uncomfortable situations. I knew I had to do my small part to change this. Not for recognition or sympathy, but so other mothers (and dads too) would know they are not alone and they can feel the same pride other parents with living children feel. I am proud of my little fighter, Gaby, and knew God gave her life in my womb to make my little piece of the world a better place. I’ve been told that I have the gift of gab (yes, I LOVE to talk), but my true Gift of Gab is Gabriella. She has made me a better, more faithful servant of the Lord. Now it’s time to share some love and encouragement to those around me (and you!).
